P. 68
Afterword
I am sorry to say that within one hour of looking up to the sky in the garden, Ginger was abruptly abducted and taken from Johnny's home. We know who took her. We also know who has her now. But that person refuses to return Ginger to me or to the estate.
As of the date of publication, we are still trying to bring Ginger home. I promised my dad I would take care of her. That is what he wanted.
Do you want to help us try to bring Ginger home? Please share this book with everyone you know, and encourage others to do so, too. If possible, please contribute, and encourage others to contribute, to the Ginger Loves Johnny Project. Kindly search online for our fundraising campaign including GingerLovesJohnny.com.
Funds will be used for part of our legal battle to bring Ginger home, and to print copies of this book to be donated to schools and non‐profit organizations. We also want to educate people about the importance of including their non‐human companions in their estate planning.
At this time we are in the process of writing the story‐behind‐the‐story. It will be entitled Ginger & Johnny & Me.
