Culinary Skills
Primary Grades: (7 to 12)
• Teach the importance of being a good host and showing them how to make
refreshments to family and guests.
• Involve them in all the things you taught them in the previous recommendations.
• Teach them how to follow easy recipes.
• Graduate to more difficult recipes after they learn basic skills.
• Teach them how to work independent in the kitchen making the job
easier by cleaning as they go.
• Assign them days to work with you in the kitchen.
• Assign them a day to make a meal from start to finish and setting the table independently.
Add to these days as they get older, giving them more responsibility in the kitchen.
