 Dressing...
Always dress your salad with the dressing right before serving and make sure each leaf is lightly coated. Then add your fixins. Never serve your
salad naked or set
the dressings on
the table.
Add a variety of textures, but be cautious to keep the salad light and do not overload it
with fixins.
Bowl Size...
Use a much bigger bowl than the contents you are adding, for tossing your salad. This will allow you to make sure that all the lettuce is coated with dressing.
Dressing...
Always add a little sweetness to the dressing and taste the dressing before you
apply it.
Less Is More...
Some Things To Remember
Blending Flavors...
Add a variety of flavors and textures but be sure there is nothing that overwhelms the whole salad. For exampleI hate a big mouth full of tomato and yet I love the taste of tomato in smaller doses,
so I always choose cherry
or grape tomatoes, I use
them sparingly and then cut
them in half.
Lettuce Preparation...
Don’t cut the lettuce, always tear it. Make sure it is completely clean and dry.
