Ingredients
• 1 1/2 LBS Ground Beef
• 2 Tbsp Olive Oil
• 1 Medium Onion, Chopped
• 2 Cloves of Garlic, Minced
• 1 Tsp (ea) Oregano, dried Basil,
Italian Seasoning and Salt
• Pepper (to taste)
• Tomato Paste (6 oz Can)
• Tomato Sauce (16 oz Can)
• Diced Tomatoes (28 Oz Can)
• Mushrooms (16 oz can) or Fresh • Parmesan Cheese
Blend Secs: 30 to 60 Oven Temp: n/a
Directions
• Sauté onions and fresh mushrooms in small amount of
• olive oil or butter. Set aside.
• Brown the ground beef, remove oil and rinse.
• Add spices, onions and fresh mushrooms and all tomatoes. • Cover and simmer for 1 1/2 hours
• Distribute sauce into large sized muffin tin • and freeze. Once frozen, remove from tin • and put into freezer bags.
Meat Sauce Pucks
This is my favorite spaghetti sauce, but I will often forgo the tomato paste and spices and use a spaghetti spice mix in its place to hasten my pace. I make this recipe pretty plain, so that I can spice it up and alter the tased based on what I am using these pucks for.
