Millers Flat to Lawrence
Distance: 44kms
Meals: Breakfast
From Millers Flat, continue following the river through the Beaumont Gorge before leaving the river and head through rolling farmland. Parts of this route is on an old railbed as the trail passes through Tunnel Hill and onto your final destination of the historic gold mining township of Lawrence. It is an interesting town to explore, and there will be time for lunch before your mid-afternoon transport back to Clyde.
Inclusions:
• Cycle equipment: bicycle, helmet, repair kit, panniers, odometer and trail documentation
• Luggage transfers:1 bag per person with a limit of 15kg per bag
• Three (3) nights’ accommodation based on twin/double share with breakfast included
• Boat Transfer: Doctors Point to Shingle Creek
• Transport: Lawrence to Clyde departing Lawrence at 4:45pm or onto Dunedin by prior arrangement.
• Excess luggage storage at our depot for pickup when returning to Clyde
• Transport if you do not wish to cycle one of the days – pick up and drop off from your accommodation on the trail.
• Straight through bags from one end of the trail to the other
Optional Extras:
• Discounted rate of NZD$45.00 extra per person, per day to upgrade to electric bikes. Subject to availability.
• Transport to and from Queenstown by bus. See ex Queenstown price options with hotel pickup
• Secure car storage if driving yourself to Clyde
