Program Overview
Improve literacy and language skills through science
Each Next Generation Science Standards Resource Bin includes a research-based program for grades K–5 composed of science informational texts and instructional materials. This program is designed to teach standards-based science content while simultaneously building literacy and language skills to meet the diverse needs of students, and includes resources for striving readers and emergent bilingual leaders.

STUDENTS
• Engages them in science through real-world experiences.
• Helps students to strengthen their science vocabulary and informational text reading skills.
