HOW TO PROPERLY STEAM A LOBSTER
Put two inches of water in a large pot. Add 2 tablespoons of salt for each quart of water (preferably sea salt). Bring the water to a rolling boil over high heat. Place the lobsters in the pot head rst and cover tightly. Return to a boil. Steam lobsters for 8 minutes for the rst pound and add 3 minutes per pound for each additional pound.
