DIFFERENT WAYS WE SUPPORT OUR MEMBERS
Our team is here to support our members through the good times and the bad. During the COVID-19 Pandemic, we worked hard to lobby governments to add our industry to the essential services list, we wrote protocols to help members train
their employees to perform their jobs safely, we helped members convert their sales to online, and we produced dozens
of marketing pieces to help through the many stages of the shutdown.
Here are a few examples of the marketing material we created:

COVID-19
ARE SWIMMING POOLS AND SPAS SAFE?
In the worrying context
of the spread of the Covid-19 virus, it is important to question the impact of our activities on our health and that of our loved ones.
THE EXPERTS ANSWER YOUR QUESTIONS:
Do I need to take special measures to treat the water in my pool / spa?
Properly treated water
is not a carrier for Covid-19.
Your pool or hot tub water will be
safe for you to enjoy as long as you continue to test your water on a regular basis, balance it as recommended,
and maintain your chlorine levels
as recommended. Even if your water
is safe, remember that all users should still respect “Social Distancing” and other behaviour recommendations from Health Canada.
Can hot water increase the risk of contracting the Corona Virus in a hot tub?
The use of a hot tub does NOT increase the risk as long
as you are properly sanitizing your water and complying with
the recommendations of Health Canada and other government authorities. You can escape to the safety of your hot tub as long
as you have your water tested, maintain a distance of at least one meter between people, cough or sneeze into your elbow, and follow any other government recommendations that may be issued.
Is the Pool or Hot Tub safe if I invite friends over?
Your water will be safe, but everyone would still need to follow the rules of social distancing. The current recommendation
is that everyone #stayhome so during this time we recommend that you enjoy some relaxation time with only members
of your immediate family living under the same roof.
#stayhomeandsafe
