Don’t let the idea of perfection stop you - you just have to START! Social media is an incredible tool, and you can’t fixate on having the best equipment in order to create content. There will always be something that you may want to purchase, like a new camera, but waiting to have these things will only hold you back.
LOGO
A logo is essential if you want to look professional. Ensure that it goes with your brand’s aesthetic. Think about how it will look with your website. Make it memorable, marketable, easy and clear to read, and unique to you. You can look at inspiration from other brand logos, but make it your own.
  PROMO POSTERS
A promo poster should include an offer. This can be a discount, offer, or giveaway. Make it interesting to look at, but ensure that it is simple and clear.
How to create a promo poster in Canva: Start with the background, then add the main focus/image, then title, then information about the promo, and finally where they can find more info (your email or website etc).

   A freebie is what you give your visitors or followers in exchange for their email (also called a lead magnet). For example, “Find out my top 5 tips to becoming a pro MUA”.
What a freebie offer looks like: A freebie offer can be free samples, coupons or discounts, worksheets or checklists, tips and hacks, and even a free online makeup class. If you have something that encourages people to opt in right away, that’s always better (like a one time free offer, because this creates a sense of urgency). It’s not so much about what your offer is, it’s more about promoting it strategically.
How to promote a freebie offer: Use Facebook or Instagram to promote your offer. On Instagram, you may want to do a giveaway as an offer. On your website, you may want to offer a discount for your services in exchange for an email address. It’s better to spend marketing dollars on promoting a freebie instead of your offer.
When you’re creating a freebie you are solving a problem: Don’t just write “book me now,” as this won’t convert because it doesn’t explain WHY they should book you. Rephrase it in a question, for example by saying, “Are you a soon to be bride looking for a makeup artist on your special day?” or “Are you a future bride? Sign up for my checklist for your big day”.
