Step 8: Pre-Harvest Preparation
During late Summer, we spray our last round of fungicide/insecticide on the crops, to make sure they are disease and insect free as the corn is putting on and growing cobs and the soybeans are growing pods. Many farmers skip this step due to the added cost and labor, but we make sure that our crops are as healthy as possible going into harvest.
