WATCHING DAYS
The Bald Eagle Watching Days event is a celebration in mid-January that features birds of prey shows, eagle viewing, food, educational displays, and Wollersheim Winery, Distillery & Bistro’s specialty wine in honor of the eagles! If you are unable to attend the event, you can still watch the eagles soaring or perching on Eagle Island in the middle of the river from mid-December into February. Schedule a guided tour on Saturday mornings during these months by calling

COW CHIP THROW & FESTIVAL
The turd-ally awesome Wisconsin State Cow Chip Throw and Festival is held on Friday and Saturday every Labor Day Weekend. The festival draws around 40,000 people, made TripAdvisor’s “America’s Top 10 Wackiest Events” list, and was featured on an episode of “Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern”. While many will attempt to beat the record cow chip throw of 248 feet, this festival features tons of fun activities for everyone:
