I want to say a sincere thank you for becoming a participant in my new journey. Trust me when I say I have put an equal amount of thought and hard work into creating this Fully Equipped Playbook, as I did my career, albeit, a few less hit by pitches along the way.
Hopefully, after reading the Fully Equipped Playbook, you have learned new ways to improve your play and enrich your life. This is only the beginning of your story. I hope you can take the memories I shared, the lessons I learned, and the information I’ve gathered, and find ways to apply them to your life moving forward. I developed this system because I believe in the results it can produce, if you’re dedicated to fully optimizing your life.
Reading the Playbook should be considered step one. Step two is reaching out to speak to me to go over any questions you may have about the tools. I am happy to help customize a plan so you can apply the tools to your life. This includes a nutrition plan, functional training program, even mental prep work. Finally please reach out for whatever else you might need. I've had so many great mentors along my journey, and now it's time to pass my knowledge onto you. I started Fully Equipped Athlete to help athletes reach their full potential, as a mentor, a coach, and trusted advisor. I can't wait to see what we can achieve together.
As sad as it is to say good-bye to playing baseball, I’m grateful to stay in the game with you. I will miss my buddies in the clubhouse, the routine at the field. I will miss the fans in the stands and the thrill of a big hit. I will miss Sunday’s when my kids got to run the bases with me. I’ll miss the camaraderie, the sportsmanship, the thrill of a win. I’ll miss the competitive feeling and seeing my family in the stands watching on with pride. There is so much I can thank baseball for. I met my wife through the sport, raised my kids in the sport, and traveled the world. Playing in Cuba in front of President Barack Obama, in Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, Venezuela, and all over the United States. Baseball gave me a focus in life. It gave me purpose, supporting my family, and fulfilling a dream.
