南投県竹山鎮農会のカントリーファイン手芸製品は、地元産業のパッチワーク を通じて三次元刺繍と結合したいと考えており、子供の遊び(お手玉)を使って 美しい商品に変身することによって子供時代の伝統的なゲームの記憶を思い出 させ、伝統的なゲームも兼ねて現代ゲームと結合した地方特色産業のあるボード ゲーム「お茶のお手玉」を研究開発しました。この小さな四角いパッチワークの 中に竹山の『茶香』と『竹炭粒子』を縫い入れた後、収納時に竹製のバスケット に入れると、美しく、環境に優しく、安全で機能的なお手玉になり、更にお手玉 の上に熟練した刺繍でお茶のプロセス『採、炒、揉、博』という文字を縫い込み、 一般の方々によりお茶の文化を理解させることができます。お茶産業のイメージ が解釈できる模様とボードゲームと合わせることによって竹山の地元産業を理 解することもできます。その中身はお茶葉の粉末と竹炭顆粒なので安全かつ機能 性を持ち、高齢者や子供たちに対して健康 ( ハンド・アイ・コーディネーション の訓練 ) で伝え継げるゲームを提供しており、ゲームの中では地元産業 ( お茶と 竹 ) のプロモーションと製作を堪能することもでき、同時に地元農業生産の多元 的な応用を増やして産業の付加価値と農村女性のパート収入も高めます。
