Food Donation Connection
providing opportunity for everyone to make a difference!
If a restaurant thaws ten steaks for the evening business, but only serves seven, the remaining three steaks are considered surplus food and available for the FDC program. A bakery makes twenty dozen cupcakes for a customer and one dozen are iced with
the wrong color of frosting. Being an FDC client, this bakery is equipped to donate the cupcakes with tax deduction benefits thru an established logistics strategy that works.
Food Donation Connection provides the service of organizing, collecting and distributing surplus foods to local hunger relief agencies from restaurants, bakeries, corporate cafeterias, catering companies, pizzerias and other types of food venues.
Knowing that a favorite restaurant participates in helping to end community hunger problems, the consumer will want to support those efforts with their patronage. With an accepted and successful donation campaign, the opportunity is there for the public to actively participate in the FDC sub brand and donate while purchasing meals or other items from an FDC client member..
