2 DEVON OPEN STUDIOS 2020 Welcome to Devon Artist Network’s Open Studios 2020
Every year Devon Open Studios celebrates the flair and talent of artists who live and work in this beautiful county, connecting artists to enthusiasts in this free showcase for the arts. We are so happy to be able to open our doors after what has been a very difficult and challenging time for all the artists and organisers involved.
This two-week event gives a rare opportunity to get an intimate view into artists’ studios, where ideas are conceived and come to life. Discover hidden gems amongst our vibrant and diverse creative community which includes a vast range of styles, media and subject matter from painting, drawing, sculpture, printmaking, installation, ceramics, jewellery, textiles and more. Many venues also offer demonstrations of techniques, workshops and talks.
With this guide, you will be able to plan your own art trail, meet artists, see where they show or produce their work, and combine viewing art with the enjoyment of our county’s varied and beautiful landscape.
Devon Artist Network’s mission is to support the county’s artists and artisans by organising events, exhibitions, family workshops and more. If you cannot visit the studios in person please visit the artists’ websites to find out more or become a friend of Devon Artist Network and see how you can help us widen access to the wealth of talent in Devon.
