4.4.2.6 wind and storm perils are the most likely to generate claims.

    1. Continuous maintenance of structures to ensure:
a) testing against mould, decay and/or condensation is done;
b) the structure must be in good order at all times, free from leaks or damp penetration;
c) the area surrounding the silo to be kept cleared;
d) water to be adequately diverted from the silo to prevent flooding.
  1. Continuous inspection on contents to ensure:
a) testing against mould, decay and/or condensation is done;
b) silo covers opened bi-weekly to inspect for condensation;
c) bi-weekly testing for heat variation;
d) health regulations as defined adhered to and effective pest control;
e) controlled mixing of wet and dry product as well as heat and artificially dried product.
