DESIGN WORK INTENTION
Most of my design experience has been in the public sector realm such as healthcare, educa- tion, civic work and government work. Because of this I have a deep seated desire to create projects that incorporate durable, sustainable building materials and strategies that are not only beautiful, but efficient, healthy, require low maintenance, and have a long life cycle. Striving to be a steward of the environment and conscientious use of tax payer money in public works, has given be a sense of purpose in my career. This career approach has crossed over to my private sector work, where maintaining the same commitment to create beautiful, healthy, sustainable interior spaces that meet the functional programs and requirements of the workplace was my goal.
