Fr. John’s blessing, we decided to try Parker Hall for one day. It was so successful that we never left and it is now our permanent home. I remind people that using Parker Hall was the one thing that Polk and I totally agreed on. That had been torpedoed, however, by those who thought the traffic would ruin the rug. That rug would make you seasick anyway. Today we operate out of the open door and are able to continue even in the face of Covid restrictions. John has since retired, but continues to be a part of that ministry (having dutifully served his obligatory one year away duty).
For me, a personal plus to John Allen’s rescue of Calvary was an added bonus in that his wife Cindy, a gem in her own right, came to help with the Well. We hit it off immediately, and have since formed a sister bond that means the world to me. us all, it turned out to be a wonderful thing, and on
October 23, we were blessed with a vivacious,

August, I was able to help some financially as Erin and

out to be a success on the first implant. We found out
on October 8 that she was pregnant with Bennett! It
is so much fun to watch these two grow into people,
even if it is Zoom, Facebook and texting instead of in person hugging. I can’t help but wonder though, as I sit here in the midst of a pandemic that tonight has caused the
