XXXXX P/L as an organisation exists to serve a single contract for a single customer and as such, will focus its efforts on continuous improvement. The company is designed to execute a repeatable and scalable business model. Unsurprisingly, the focus of innovation in large organisations is tipped heavily towards sustaining and efficiency innovation. Simply put, most companies’ focus on improving the current business model, this is also the focus for XXXXX P/L.
It will concentrate its effort of serving existing markets with existing products at the expense of exploration in new value propositions and business models. XXXXX P/L consciously understands and executes its improvement and Innovation Strategy with no targeted focus on:
• Entering similar, or creating new markets
• Winning new customers and/or contracts
• Adding new products / services to the organisation for commercialisation
