Committees of the Board
Our dedicated board of directors are also members of various subcommittees alongside
Aidlink staff and volunteers. Committees of the Board meet between two and six times per year as necessary. There are six subcommittees: Audit and Risk Committee, Remuneration and Director Performance Review Committee, Governance and Nominations Committee and Programme Committee, Fundraising Committee and Communications and Engagement Committee. Formal Terms of Reference are adopted by each subcommittee focused on their remit.

Revised and updated risk policy, new register developed in line with the charities regulator guide.
Assisted in
successful recruitment.
Active targeted recruitment plan, appointment of 2 new board members, strengthened subcommittees.
Oversight
of successful proposal submission to Irish Aid and Bank of Ireland Staff Charitable Fund, oversight of flagship project evaluation and due diligence review and approval of new partner organisation (ARUWE).
Updated Terms of Reference, developed and adopted new fundraising strategy 2021-2024.
New subcommittee established December 2021 and currently working on communications strategy development.
