1. GENERAL PURPOSES COMMITTEE
CHAIR: CHARLES COASE
The ongoing oversight of the implementation
of Board Strategy is carried out by the General
Purposes Committee (GPC) which acts
under delegated authority from the Board.
The membership of the GPC is made up of
the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, the
Chairman of the GPC and up to four other
Trustees. The GPC meets a minimum of five
times a year, or more regularly as required, to
ensure implementation of the Trust’s strategy
and make recommendations to the Board.
2. AUDIT AND RISK COMMITTEE
CHAIR: GER PENNY
The brief of the Audit and Risk Committee is to
develop and maintain the Trust’s risk register,
ensuring that mitigation plans are put in place.
Potential risk factors are identified, extensively
evaluated and responsibility for actions
assigned to appropriate individuals in the
organisation to develop and track mitigation
strategies. Trustees with particular experience
in managing risk serve on the Committee,
including the former global head of internal
audit at Diageo. The Committee also makes
recommendations regarding the appointment
of the auditor and meets to review the audit
process, and to review and recommend annual
audited accounts to the Board.

3. ASSET MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE
CHAIR: MARGARET FLEMING
The Asset Management Committee (AMC)
was established by the Trustees to ensure
the Trust’s asset management practices and
its investment into physical infrastructure
supports the strategic planning objectives
and is consistent with best practice. The
membership ensures a whole-of-organisation
approach to ensure the Trust’s assets are
managed in a systematic, efficient and
coordinated manner for present and future
tenants.
4. NOMINATIONS COMMITTEE
CHAIR: KATE QUANE
Appointments to the Board and to any sub-
committees are overseen by the Nominations
Committee which is made up of the Chairman
of the Board of Trustees, one other Trustee,
and a Guinness family Trustee.
