C’est mon pays, je suis y né en décembre 1971 à Phnom Penh. Enfant de Lon, cambodgienne, et Marcel , français. Mon pays je l’ai quitté trop tôt, j’avais que 5 ans.
Dès que l’avion a atterri je me sens chez moi. C’est inexplicable et très étrange. C’est mon pays et je l’aime. Ce n’est pas la première fois que je reviens. C’est un pays encore sous corruption, la démocratie en est une qu’en surface et les habitants doivent improviser pour vivre et survivre mais voilà, les racines sont bien là.
Pour un photographe, immortaliser Angkor, c’est une aventure très spéciale. Chaque année a lieu le très célèbre ANGKOR PHOTO FESTIVAL & WORKSHOP à Phnom Penh. C’est en décembre. Parmi les participants, un français. Un enfant de pays. Amoureux de son pays..

This is my country, I was born there in December 1971 in Phnom Penh. Child of Lon, Cambodian, and Marcel, French. My country I left too early, I was only 5 years old.
As soon as the plane has landed I feel at home. It's inexplicable and very strange. It's my country and I love it. This is not the first time I come back. It is a country still under corruption, democracy is one on the surface and the inhabitants have to improvise to live and survive, but now, the roots are there.
