Y’s
Yohji Yamamoto is a Japanese fashion designer based in Tokyo and Paris. He is known for his avant-garde tailoring featuring Japanese design aesthetics. Y’s is one of Yohji Yamamoto’s sub-lines.
Y’s has two different sub-groupings, Black and Pink, the former remains dedicated to artisanal experimentation, and the latter is more fashion-focused.
Within Black, they combined bohemian and urban elements as well as a type of Japanese marbling technique to modify fabrics and make materials. In addition, in Group Pink, you can feel a punk- inspired attitude.
