Zimmermann
Australian sisters Nicky and Simone Zimmermann founded their eponymous label in Sydney in 1991. Zimmermann has since become a beloved fashion and lifestyle brand known for its resortwear.
This collection inspired by the dreamy, summery mood from Nicky’s memory of being a young girl in Sydney, waiting for a holiday break. She and her friends did not do much school work at all. In American, we somethings call that lack of motivation ahead of graduation “senioritis”. It means relax, enjoying the work you’ve already done all year and how good it will feel to be free of books. deadlines and grades. The purpose is to evoke people the exciting feeling for Summer break.
