Inside this Issue
Welcome to a bumper Winter issue of the mag and many thanks to our contributors this time – old and new – as well as the advertisers without who’m it would be difficult to sustain this publication in it’s present form.
We have a truly international selection of articles and cases this time from writers all over the world showing just how close the global links are between the homeopathic vets. BAHVS President Mark Elliott looks in his crystal ball and gives us his predictions for the year ahead while Barbara Jones has a short look back over the last 30 years of the association. Ronit Aboutboul presents a case on the treatment of a chronic eye ulcer and we learn about the challenges faced by homeopaths in Japan from regular conference attendee Minako Kurodu. Anybody fancy the Japanese congress in September?
Thanks to John Saxton for writing the Guest Editorial who gives his take on the development of the BAHVS. Interesting times indeed!
IAVH Coordinator for Education and regular mag contributor Stefan Kohlrausch tells us of a proving and presents cases for Cepaea Hortensis (Garden Snail) and the IAVH Newsletter section offers the President’s Report, Treasurer’s Report as well as conference reports from Liesbeth Ellinger and Marcie Falleck. Peter Gregory also con- tributes the final part of his interview with Chris Day.
Henry Stevenson from Australia tells the tale of an Australian cattle dog and Lachesis, while BAHVS Junior Vice President Jane Keogh gives us her thoughts on winter and the potential of a new year.
Finally, Sara Fox-Chapman looks at two interesting cases in her arti- cle Agression Towards Humans, we have a quiz case from Edward de Beukelaer and an account of A Dog’s Life by Jacques Millemann from France.
All told, there’s plenty to get your teeth into and we hope very much that you find the contents useful and informative. We’re always pleased to hear from anyone who may have ideas or suggestions for improving the mag and I’d like to give thanks in advance to all of you who will help make the next issue a success.
Have a wonderful new year – together we can make it special!
The British Association of Homeopathic Veterinary Surgeons (BAHVS) was formed in 1981, to advance the understanding, knowl- edge and practice of homeopathy. It aims to stimulate professional awareness of homeopa-
thy and to encourage and to provide for the training of veterinary surgeons in the practice of homeopathy.
It is an open forum for differing approaches to the subject of veterinary homeopathy and it’s
application, allowing for constructive inter- changes of ideas.

sarily reflect the opinions of the BAHVS or the Editor.
The BAHVS is grateful to advertisers and sponsors, however does not necessarily endorse products or the companies advertised.
Best wishes.
