The main ingredients of my work – often made with an abundance of detail – are my love for nature, the art of different civilizations, music and dance, rhythm and free improvisation.
At the same time I assemble sounds from various sources, such as musical instruments, objects or field recordings, creating sound pieces which fuel my painting and converse with it.
Every element used, either representational or abstract, is part of a universe that emerges when I conjure images from the subconscious through spontaneous hand movements, as well as the repetition of patterns with a kind of obsessive concentration.
Human behaviors, memories and desires are mirrored in a parallel dream world, bustling with life like a small jungle, where time is spherical and flexible and anything can happen.
