blankets...acting as a final layer to protect the Veteran from the elements...coming full circle from its original purpose.
That single wool blanket brought it all home for me...and was part of the inspiration for me to not only tell my story, but for me to layer a patchwork blanket of stories from my fellow Veterans...always choosing to take a chance and help others to find their own hope, even if that hope was to be found on the inside of a tent close to the VA.
