find a piece of clarity in a piece of peace it's better than where you were before. Everyday is a new day and our bodies are different every day.
The practice of Yoga is going to be different and our dogs are going to be different every day, but if we just realize that joy can be the same...happiness can be the same...peacefulness can be the same and we can find that through the practice of DOGA.
It may seem overwhelming to start a Yoga practice let alone add your dog into it. But when you have your dog with you on the mat things are only better. If we are only trying to make ourselves feel better by doing something then why not choose to do the most loving, soothing, healthy and positive action we can to make ourselves physically and mentally better. Yoga is something that everyone should do. But when you have PTSD you need it even more. When people say they don't have time to do Yoga or it is too hard for them or they would never be able to do it, they are just not giving themselves the chance to try. Yoga and DOGA is something that you can and should do for the rest of your life. You have to just start doing it and not stop. It doesn't have to be a full hour on the mat every time you get time to sit and be with your pup and be with your breathing. It is about being consistent for the rest of your life with being joyful and happy even if it is only for 15 or 20-minutes while on the mat. It will extend into the rest of your life if you continue to do it daily.
