Prince Edward Island is hosting the Air Cadets, they've done this for two years in a row now, and she's been there for both of those. She was asked back again, because the kids come out of their dorm in the morning and are missing their own dogs and cats from wherever they are from, Denmark or wherever, and Myah is just a great substitute. All they do is just maul her. They are just all over her. She loves it...and they love her. So, they publish pictures of the entire trip, and Myah's there in every picture...with 47 hands on top of her.
I have had a wonderful experience with the VA. I really have. They've always been there for me and they've done it right. I have been dealing with the VA for about 10 years now. I have been dealing with heart issues, seizures, things relating to Agent Orange, I've had open heart surgery (and actually got a human valve that time).
I stopped at a truck stop, when we were coming back from the Boston VA, and when we went inside, we were immediately asked, "Where is Myah?” I can't take her anyplace in Canada where people don't know her or will ask about her. It seems like, whenever we go in these places, they always bring her water...they just know her. You can't bring her into a restaurant on the island that doesn't know her. She just gets around a lot with me because she sees a lot of the soldiers and the Mounties...like last night at one of the meetings we got to. She is going to spend a good part of the summer with Air Cadets from all over the world...with me of course. These are students in their young teens who learn to fly. They are basically the cream of the crop from each of their countries. They are bright, articulate, well-mannered, they are just really with it. It's just amazing, the quality of these students. It gives you faith on what we have coming along. Last year they were from Belgium, England, France, Vietnam, Cambodia, Vienna Estates, etc.
