inches wide. I am also still dealing with memory loss. It's because of the brain surgery I have had...they removed enough of the brain tissue that it has really impacted my ability to remember things. My wife helps me out a great deal with this. I do write things down a lot more than I used to.
In addition to Charlotte, my Great Dane and Service Dog, we have two Chihuahuas, Luna (age 13.5) and George (age six) as of April 2018. My wife got Luna from a local breeder about two months before we met. We got George at about eight weeks old from a local pet store while I was in Mississippi working on my Ph.D. in Toxicology. Luna and George are very happy dogs that love to give attention when they feel it would be beneficial.
When my wife and I met, when we were first dating...this is almost 14 years ago...she had just gotten a Chihuahua. It was maybe six or eight weeks old. And I had my Great Dane Lizzy for about two months at that point in time. I had gotten her from a service/rescue group in Kentucky when she was five years old. So, when we met the whole thing was "well we are both getting along pretty well...but if my dog eats your dog...." So that was the one challenge we had. They did get along...it just took a while for them to figure out how not to stomp each other...or rather for my dog not to stomp her dog.
As a 1st Lieutenant I was assigned to Wright Patterson Air Force Base and I was a single guy at the time. I bought a house because it seemed like the thing to do at the time. I decided that, since I had a house, that I should also have a dog who I could hang out with. So, I got ahold of this rescue group.
