women I married until recently. With the latest marriage my wife is the first one whom I feel I can trust to a point. I think it also helps because we went to high school together and are from a very small town so we have the same morals and values.
I can be honest and say I don't like civilians at all and would prefer to only deal with Veterans and then normally only the ones that were in the SPECOPS community. As my mother would say is that I hate people and only truly like animals. They are the only ones that I know I can truly trust and won't screw me over since they don't know how to.
My wife I love because she has been through my side since day one. I know she would never hurt me. When we go out she helps keep an eye out so it helps me relax and not be so stressed out in public. She also looks for the correct type of place to sit.
I spend a lot of time in the wood shop at the local 50+ center. There are normally only one or two people in there at a time. I am also the Executive Director of a nonprofit for returning SPECOPS Soldiers so we can help them to fit back into civilian life. So, I actually spend a lot of time on the phone helping out other Soldiers so they don't end up running into some of the same issues that other SPECOPS have had to deal with. I also spend a lot of my time with Remmy now that he is terminal, letting him go and have some fun during the day.
I had to have my stomach rebuilt due to an IED blast injury that never properly healed. It caused me to have a horrible case of acid reflux, which I had for several years, would never go away, and just continued to get worse. I also deal with migraines that I have to take shots for them because the pain is so bad. I have a knee brace that I wore for a few years until I was able to straighten it. At one time I was on 19 different medications a day that I was taking an average
