Consider that the Kingdom Jesus is referring to is not a place per se, but a state of consciousness, and the ancient medicine Jesus was explaining was using non- dualistic, esoteric wisdom from above (i.e., Higher Consciousness), which is without division, “undivided” (James, 3:17) to integrate the dualistic thinking that was called by Lao Tzu “a sickness.”
“But the wisdom that is from above is pure, filled with peace, meek and attentive, filled with love and good fruit,
without division and does not show partiality.”
- James 3:17 (https://biblehub.com/aramaic-plain-english/james/3.htm)
What is this universal wisdom that arose at different times in different areas of the world? It is an elemental wisdom that arises from the ubiquitous Essence of Existence. This timeless wisdom, generally known as “esoteric” or “mystical”, emanates from the Higher Consciousness through sages worldwide.
What Jesus, Lao Tzu and Buddha held in common, was the knowledge that the only necessity to heal all of the ills of mankind is integration of dualistic consciousness through the non-dualistic wisdom of undivided Higher Consciousness. The same healing and self-realization principle Jesus expressed is the essence of Taoism, Buddhism and Sufism, the crux of aboriginal spiritualities of the Americas, Australia, and many Pacific Islands. This wisdom from within, like its Higher Consciousness source, is undivided (James, 3:17); hence, such wisdom has no religion and no nationality.
