   Conclusion
This mission is personal for me. Each of my grandfather’s fought in World War I. One was shot in the head, but his helmet absorbed the bullet impact and he survived. Each of them developed Parkinson’s disease later in life. My father was drafted into the Korean War at a desk job, and I had an uncle who fought in the Vietnam War, but was never the same after.
Currently, I’m on the board of the Society for Brain Mapping and Therapeutics, which works with many aspects of the military. I’m also a Community Leader for the Society
