NVTRP is proud to be able to offer these services to Veterans. Looking at the impacts of these services, our participants say it best. When asked how working together with their horse made them feel, Veterans said the following:
“Made me feel wanted, worth something.” “Made me feel very grounded and connected.” “Happy, an emotion I haven’t felt in a while.”
NVTRP is committed to creating a space for recovering military service personnel that provides them peace, a supportive community and a non-judgmental connection with our amazing horses. There are many wonderful organizations that provide equine- assisted activities and therapies across the country and we encourage Veterans to get involved and allow the power of the horse to help them through their individual struggles.
