serene room, there is soft music playing, so it's really relaxing. And they come back after 10-15 minutes and remove all of the needles, it's that quick.
I was raped by multiple men while in the military over in the Gulf War. One thing about the first rape I will say...I did report to my up line SSG who questioned me and seemed compassionate, but then he concluded that "it was my fault"! On top of that the rapist was an MP...not an enemy combatant. Because of this I was sure not going to go to the MPs who made sure that no charges came against one of their own.
One rape was much more traumatic and severe than the others. Granted the rapes did not help my physical issues but the emotional trauma was worse. My injuries, the trauma I experienced, my PTSD, anxiety, depression and other issues have all compounded, have led to personal isolation and stopped me from being able to work. I was medically retired from working in 2012 due to my PTSD, depression and Agoraphobia (anxiety disorder) interfering too much for me to continue.
I am currently going through training with my Service Dog at Midwest Battle Buddies. His name is Kai, which means safe harbor, which is perfect because he is my safe harbor and the ocean is my calm place to spend time. He was born in May of 2016 and I received him at eight weeks old from the breeder. He is a Cavapoo (a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel mixed with a Poodle).
Kai graduated in March of 2018. So, he is a fully certified Service Dog now. He is doing great. We met for training with Midwest Battle Buddies one day each week and did training at a local mall for his advanced training. During beginning sessions, we trained at a local technical college on the weekends. The trainer went over items/activities needed to pass the Service Dog testing
