                 Thiazide diuretics
Thiazides are diuretics with a less rapid and less powerful action on the kidneys than ordinary or loop diuretics, so they are less likely to cause a need to pass large amounts of urine. The most commonly used thiazide is Bendroflumethiazide. They may be given together with other diuretics.
If you don’t take your diuretic or thiazide tablets as instructed, you may retain fluid, gain weight, and become breathless.
