What causes heart failure?
Heart failure can be caused by a number of things depending on what type of heart failure you have.
Heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (also known as diastolic heart failure), meaning the heart muscle is stiff and doesn’t pump effectively can be caused by:
1.) High blood pressure. 2.) Narrow heart valves. 3.) Obesity
4.) Diabetes
5.) Ageing
