The Minstrel combines classic lifting technology with the latest standards in safety, security and comfort for both patient/resident and carer alike. Incorporating a full range of head and body support slings, the electrically operated Minstrel means that carers can give their full undivided attention while lifting. No winding handles or hydraulic pumps mean that there is constant reassuring contact with their patient/resident at all times.
Minstrel has a solid hanger bar assembly that will prevent swinging and swaying of the patient/resident adding to their overall safety and sense of security.
Designed for use in smaller facilities or at home, the compact Minstrel will lift patients/residents weighing up to 190kg. Yet thanks to the large diameter castors, it is still easy to manoeuvre.
Be it lifting a patient/resident who has fallen to the floor or moving him/ her out of bed and into their favourite chair, the Minstrel is a classic and versatile solution to many general lifting situations. Because of the speed and smoothness of the lifting action the patient/resident has a feeling of safety and security, while the carer is able to maintain proper body posture and avoid injury.
The Minstrel is also available with a scale option, along with powered
leg opening, allowing the carer to quickly weigh their patient/resident whilst performing a transfer. Combining these two tasks not only reduces manual handling, but also facilitates the quality of patient/resident care.
