The public delivery system in India is one of the world's largest system of
ration distribution. This system along with its merits needs a new
technological boost. For this we have innovated an automatic ration vending
machine. This machine automates the process of ration distribution by
improving transparency and adding new generation of verification system to
it. We have implemented technologies to maintain transparency, online
inventory which will drastically reduce grain losses, and corruption in the PDS.

Current Work - The initial prototype was able to dispatch a single commodity
and had a storage of 40kgs.It maintained a database of around 200
consumers and dispatched the grains accordingly while producing printed
       bills.

       Features
       - Consumer verification
       - Automatic vending of ration, based on input of weight/volume and type of
commodity.Proper storage container, to protect the commodity from pests
and changing weather.Online database of consumer as well as the logs of
commodity sold and left, to bring transparency in the system.
