Your Pain Level
Your pain matters when you are healing. Speak Up about your pain and tell your healthcare team:
• How long you’ve been feeling pain, where and how much.
• What kind of pain—dull, aching, throbbing, sharp, stabbing, burning or tingling, constant or irregular.
• If there is anything that makes your pain feel better or worse.
• How much, if any, relief you are getting from your medicine and how long you feel relief.
Ask about managing your pain with other treatment options.
