Visiting Hours
Medical/Surgical Floors 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Labor & Delivery
Visitors of the patient’s choosing and siblings are allowed visitation in Labor & Delivery at any time.
(ICU) Intensive Care Unit
ICU hours are the same as medical/ surgical patient visiting hours, except during the following shift change times: 6:00 to 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Please note:
• ONLY TWO visitors at a time are allowed in the ICU.
• NO food or drinks, owers, latex balloons or CELL PHONES
• BE QUIET, rest is important for healing.
• Some critical patients may require reduced visiting hours to aid in
the healing process.
For Visitors
Medical City McKinney would like to welcome you to our patient-centered, healing environment. Having visitors, family and friends around you can play an important role in healing. Please follow these rules for your comfort and safety:
• PLEASE DO NOT visit if you have a cold, sore throat, fever or infection.
• WASH YOUR HANDS
before entering and when leaving the patient’s room.
• ASK before bringing
owers, perfumes, food/drink, balloons or other items that may trigger allergies or disrupt
other patients.
• RESPECT all “no visitor”, “isolation,” or any signs posted.

PLEASE BE QUIET, and respect the healing of other patients.
SILENCE cell phones. Cell phone use
is NOT allowed in the Intensive Care Unit.
STEP OUT of the room when asked by the sta , if it is necessary for the well being of the patient.
USE THE PUBLIC RESTROOMS
outside the patient’s room and help us keep the patient’s room sanitary.
PLEASE SUPERVISE all children and infants at all times. Please do not bring sick children to the hospital.
CHILDREN 12 AND OVER MAY VISIT THE ICU.
