WHEN Should You Call Code H?
• If you notice a CHANGE in the HEART RATE or drop in BLOOD PRESSURE of the patient
• If you notice any CHANGE in BREATHING or OXYGEN LEVELS of the patient
• If you notice a change in URINE OUTPUT (more or less urine)
• If you notice a change in MENTAL STATUS (such
as confusion or
irritability) or level
of consciousness of the patient
• If you have any
other SERIOUS
CONCERNS about the condition of the patient

WHAT Is Code H? The “H” stands for Help. Patients and families can initiate a dispatch of our CODE H TEAM to quickly check the condition of the patient and provide help BEFORE there is a medical emergency, such as a heart attack.
HOW To Call DIAL 0 for Operator, and place your call light ON. When the operator answers, say, "I need to activate a Code H Team", and one will be dispatched.
