Live Music....
... a comeback! – BY HELENA MACE
Wow live music appears to have come back with a vengeance and its been lovely to see gigs happening again and people out enjoying themselves after a tough year. As a musician, it’s especially wonderful as entertaining is what we do and the audiences have been just fantastic.
I have been busy writing a new album and now that three have been recorded, its time to knuckle down and finish it off around all the shows. I am hoping to get back in the studio this autumn and I also have a Christmas song to finish which I’ll tell you about later this year when the nights really draw in and i reveal the artwork soon.
This new album is yet untitled and to be honest, I am not sure of the release date but it will be hopefully by Spring 2022. It promises to be a genre mix of Country, folk, rock and pop and a big move forward for my original music and I’m very much looking forward to it.
This September brings a mini tour for me incorporating my original music and covers and I am very excited to have been asked to support the brilliant Twinnie on her new tour which is great news. I am also filming an on-line show on a Narrowboat on the England/Wales border which will be out later this year.
There has definitely been a lot to write about and I will be keeping everyone updated on new music and the ongoing process of recording another album so watch this space.
