Publisher’s Notes
Welcome to LUCKY issue # 13 our December 2022 edition.
It’s been quite a while since we have had an issue published on- line.
There have been many factors that caused this. One of the major occurrences was hurricane Fiona that simply slammed the east coast of Nova Scotia.
Not only could we not publish the magazine on-line but we were also absent from the airwaves for over 38 days around October. To us, this was devastating.
Being absent on the airwaves left me going through microphone withdrawal. I was so used to my daily routine of being on air, and I quickly found out that most of what we do is generated by the Internet.
The reason for being down on the Internet was a studio move about two hours away from our last location and although it had been booked for a new install, where we might have lost maybe only a day, turned out to be 38 days. This was due to Bell Aliant making a multitude of errors about my installation. If another source for Internet were available I would not be on Bell Aliant today. We lost faith on this Internet giant. All this happened with not even a sorry coming from Bell Aliant.
Of course in today’s world I would expect nothing else from Bell Aliant. We lost money and listeners, however we are glad to be back and we thank all the Indie artists and fans for their understanding during that time.
Onwards and upwards, spread the word, let’s get you some airplay.

Special Note for Independent Artists....
We sincerely want to assist you in you getting your music and info out to the masses. And to help do that we offer a lot more than most. You can come on one of our shows as a co-host for a one or two hour program as many have already done, just ask Wallace Mair, Rosalie Drysdale, Paul Jupe, Wylie Harold and many more. This helps to promote you and your music.
The only requirements are that you have Skype loaded on to a computer, send in a minimum of 5 tunes and be available for a one or two hour show.
