All About You!
BY IRIS B. HOLTON Sentinel City Editor
Recently, a Tampa man collected his thoughts on rela- tionships and wrote his first book. The book, entitled, “The Mind Of A Jerk, --- Diary of a Single Man,” is the first creative production of Manual Johnson.
On Sunday, May 3rd, Johnson will participate in the Oxford Exchange’s First Annual Book Fair. He and other local authors will ap- pear at the Oxford Exchange, 420 W. Kennedy Blvd., from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.
Johnson stated in the purpose of the book, “The rea- son why this book is so impor- tant for everyone to read is not to only feed our appetite for suspension, but to also in- form women of all walks of life, how some men think.
“Likewise, men can learn a valuable lesson within this reading as well. This short story is full of twists and turns of many situations that are
not only relatable, but are re- alistic. I hope you can learn something from this story. All while being entertained. Buckle your seat belt and enjoy the ride.”
The story focuses on Mar- cus Little, a man known for his ability to manipulate women for his sexual pleas- ure. However, he has to live with the consequences after his lies, deceit, and infidelity boomerangs and comes back on him.
Marcus has a set of rules that he lives by in his relation- ship with women.
As he unfolds his rules, he plays mind games with sev- eral women, going from one to the other with no serious intentions. However, he does- n’t know how to respond when he learns that the women are playing the same games as he. And, he has to come to terms with the little girl he loves is not his daugh- ter.
Marcus gets his first in- troduction to karma.
