Steve Kerr On Warriors Guard Klay Thompson: 'He's Doing Well'
KLAY THOMPSON
OAKLAND, Calif. -- Golden State Warriors guard Klay Thompson is expected to play in Game 1 of the NBA Finals, according to coach Steve Kerr.
"He's doing well," Kerr said after practice Saturday at the team's facility."I'm antici- pating he's going to be there."
Thompson was diag- nosed with a concussion after suffering a blow to the head in Wednesday's series-clinching win over the Houston Rockets. He was cleared to play that evening but did not return to game action. He must be symptom free before he can return to practice, according to the NBA's concussion proto- col.
Asked if he is preparing for Thompson's absence, Kerr said he was planning only for Thompson to be in the lineup. Game 1 of the NBA Fi- nals against the Cleveland Cavaliers is Thursday.

Gatling, 47, met a Scotts- dale fitness studio owner on a dating website earlier this year, according to police. He told the victim that he oper- ated several Internet busi- nesses that created websites and fixed credit. He persuaded her to charge credit card num- bers for him through her busi- ness, authorities said. Gatlin

The charges were later deemed unauthorized and charged back to the victim. She lost $90,000 and was forced to close her fitness stu- dio.
