Jarvis Landry Signs With Saints
JARVIS LANDRY
The New Orleans Saints have signed another key vet- eran with Louisiana roots.
Jarvis Landry announced on last Friday that he has agreed to a deal with the Saints. He did by sharing a hype video that he captioned “WHO DAT.”
Landry was released by the Cleveland Browns this offsea- son, mostly so they could save salary cap space. He has since drawn interest from several teams, but he chose New Or- leans.
Landry grew up in Louisiana and played college ball at LSU. The same is true for Tyrann Mathieu, who also signed with the Saints recently. The safety was among the first to welcome Landry to the team.
Drew Brees Is Out As NFL Analyst For NBC After One Season
DREW BREES
Drew Brees is reportedly out at NBC.
The former New Orleans Saints quarterback is done at the network after a single sea- son working as a studio and game analyst for its NFL broad- casts, the New York Post re- ports.
Per the report, the decision was mutual. Brees preferred calling games over studio work while NBC "soured" on Brees as a color commentator after holding out hope that he could develop as the heir apparent to Cris Collinsworth on "Sun- day Night Football" broad- casts, according to Marchand.
Brees downplayed the re- port on Twitter Sunday evening, writing that he's "cur- rently undecided" about his fu- ture.

Update On Potential
Rob Gronkowski Return
The Tampa Bay Bucca- neers have not yet received a firm commitment from tight end Rob Gronkowski about his status for 2022, and they do not know when they will receive one.
Gronkowski remains a free agent, though he has made it clear he will either re- sign with the Buccaneers or retire. The veteran tight end has yet to make up his mind either way, according to coach Todd Bowles, and it is un- clear when a final decision will come.
Once Tom Brady an- nounced his return, there was

a significant expectation that Gronkowski would join him. The tight end even seemed to hint at that. How- ever, the continued lack of a decision suggests that Gronkowski is seriously considering retirement.
