Colin Kaepernick, Seahawks Apart On Money
Warriors Handily Defeat The Cavaliers In Game 2
Colin Kaepernick vis- ited with the Seattle Sea- hawks recently and things reportedly went well, but no deal between the sides is im- minent.
Why is that? One reporter says the sides are apart on money.
A source reports that fi- nances are the sticking point between Seattle and Kaepernick.
Garafolo was also asked whether money is the reason why Kaepernick has been

unable to land a deal with other teams, and he said he felt other things were factors for other teams.
The Golden State Warriors marked Coach Steve Kerr’s long-awaited return to the bench by defeating the Cleve- land Cavaliers, 132-113, on Sunday night in Game 2 of the N.B.A. finals.
Kerr had missed the team’s last 11 games — all playoff wins — as he sought treatment for chronic pain stemming from back surgery.
In his return, the Warriors rolled behind Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant — same as usual during the Warriors’ unprecedented postseason run. The Warriors are now 14-0 in the playoffs, a league record. They have a 2- 0 series lead on the Cavaliers, with Game 3 scheduled for Wednesday in Cleveland.
On Sunday, the Warriors scored 50 points in the game’s first 15 minutes. It was an oth- erworldly display of offensive

The Golden State Warriors entered the NBA Finals as heavy favorites over the Cleveland Cavaliers, and one star NFL player is fully ex- pecting Kevin Durant and the boys to take care of busi- ness.
Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy shared a photo of a betting slip on his Snapchat account earlier in the week, and it showed that he bet $200,000 on the War- riors to get the best of the Cavs. According to ESPN’s David Purdum, McCoy’s bet was the largest one Planet Hollywood took on the NBA Finals.
While there is still a lot of basketball left to be played, McCoy has to be feeling pretty good about his invest- ment thus far. The Warriors lead 2-0.

firepower. Kevin Durant led the Warriors with 33 points. Stephen Curry added 32. The Cavaliers kept the game in reach behind LeBron James, who had 18 points in the first half and finished with 29 points. But the Warriors had too many options in the
game’s late stages and pulled away.
This is the third straight season that the Warriors and the Cavaliers have met in the finals. The Warriors won the championship in 2015, while the Cavaliers won the title last year.
2 Seasons With Team
The Kansas City Chiefs re- leased wide receiver Jeremy Maclin on Friday, the team announced in a statement.
"I’d like to thank Jeremy for his effort and dedication the past two seasons," Chiefs General Manager John Dorsey said. "I have great re- spect for all players, which makes decisions like these very difficult, but we felt it was in the best interest of our club moving forward to part ways at this time. We wish Jeremy the best as he continues his career."
The veteran wideout re- acted to the news shortly after

it was made official.
Maclin signed with the
Chiefs as a free agent in March 2015 following five seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles, and he thrived throughout his first year upon reuniting with head coach Andy Reid.
Chris Bosh Found To Have Career Ending Illness By Medical Review
Leonard Williams Allegedly
Chris Bosh's NBA career has likely come to an end after a medical review con- firmed the 11-time All-Star has a career-ending illness.
Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reported a medical review from the NBA and NBPA "agreed with the Miami Heat's position that [Bosh] has suffered a career-ending illness."
As Winderman noted, the Heat will now be able to place Bosh on waivers to clear his salary from their

cap. He's due to make $25.3 million next season and $26.8 million in 2018-19 as part of the five-year deal he signed in 2014.
Broke Up Argument Between
Darron Lee, Woman On Video
Video captured by an at- tendee of the Governors Ball Music Festival appears to show New York Jets defensive lineman Leonard Williams restraining teammate Dar- ron Lee from an argument with a woman.
According to the concert- goer's account, a person (later identified as Lee by NFL writer Benjamin Allbright) harassed and became physical with an unnamed woman on multiple occasions. Williams later stepped in and picked up Lee to take him away from the situation.
Lee was identified as the aggressor, with people need- ing to intervene to prevent the situation from escalating. The concertgoer said Lee threat- ened Williams, who picked up his teammate after he at- tempted to push his way

through and get back to the woman.
These accounts have not been confirmed, either by po- lice or any of the people in- volved in the situation. Security intervened after Williams became physical with Lee, according to the concertgoer.
Lee, 22, was the Jets' first- round pick in 2016. He recorded 73 tackles and one sack in 13 games during his rookie campaign.
All-Star point guard Chris Paul intends to give the San Antonio Spurs serious consid- eration in free agency this summer in the event he de- cides to leave the LA Clippers, according to league sources.
Sources stated that Paul, for all of his undeniable fond- ness for Los Angeles, is in- trigued by the idea of teaming up with the likes of Spurs coach Gregg Popovich and MVP top-three finalist Kawhi Leonard in his quest to achieve the deep playoff success that has eluded Paul to this point in his career.
