Local Stores Giving Away BTS Backpacks
Victim's Family, Detectives Ask For Tips To Help Solve Case
On May 29th, a Tampa man died after being wounded by gunfire. Now, his family hopes the community will help to solve his murder.
The family of Antonio Richardson and the Tampa Police Detectives are hoping to solve this murder. Police hope to obtain leads to identify sus- pects involved in the murder.
Shortly after 3 a.m., 21- year-old Richardson and others were celebrating a fam- ily member’s high school grad- uation. The event was being held in the 3400 block E. North Bay Street. At some point, an early 2000 model, light-colored, four-door sedan drove by and fired several shots, striking Richardson and another 23-year-old male.

to a local hospital, where An- tonio was later pronounced dead. The other victim was treated and released from the
hospital.
The vehicle was seen leav-
ing the area immediately after the shooting.
Antonio's family and Tampa Police Detectives are seeking any information that would assist in the investiga- tion, and lead to identifying and arresting the suspect in this case. An arrest will pro- vide some sense of closure for his family.

The School Rocks Backpack Giveaway will be held from 1-4 p.m. at eight TCC and Wireless Zone stores in the Tampa Bay area.
Children in grades K-12 can be registered to win a $10,000 scholarship at their local stores during the backpack event. Five scholarships will be awarded to randomly selected winners.
