‘Empire’ Co-Stars Wed
Prince Rushed To The Hospital; He’s Okay
PRINCE
Fans of famed musician Prince had a minor scare on Friday (Apr. 15), when they saw his name was trending on social media. News broke that the “Purple Rain” artist was rushed to a hospital after he finished performing at a concert in At- lanta, Ga., last week.
When he boarded a plane on his way to another destination following the night’s festivity, Prince began to feel ill and made an emergency landing in Moline, Ill. According to a rep for the highly-decorated singer, Prince has been battling the flu for a few weeks now.
After arriving at the nearest hospital, Prince received med- ical attention and continued to travel on his way back home, where he’s currently recover- ing. The master musician de- cided to show the world that he’s on the mend.
He did it by coming out to a $10 dance party of sorts in the Minneapolis area.
Apparently from his point of view, it was important to let people know without a doubt that he’s still alive and kicking, hence his appearance around midnight at Paisley Park near his home where also showed off his new guitar and piano.
He didn’t sing, but told the crowd:“Wait a few days before you waste any prayers.”

Beyonce` Drops HBO Event Teaser; Launches Activewear Ahead Of ‘Formation’ Tour
Beyonce` in Lemonade world premiere.
Beyoncé dropped a cryp- teaser Saturday for “Lemonade,” a “world pre- miere event” airing 9 p.m. next
Saturday on HBO.
The 20-second clip, posted
to the singer’s YouTube and social media accounts, has Be- yoncé in tight braids and a brown fur coat ever so slowly lifting her head into view. The video dramatically cuts to black before she shows her face.
Beyonce’s announcement makes sense in light of an odd trio of captionless, lemon-re- lated photos she posted Sept. 20: one of her happily sniffing a fresh lemon, another flash- ing a goblet of yellow drink, and a third showcasing a lemon-shaped candle holder.
Beyoncé superfan Twitter account The Beyhive also re- ported in February that the “Crazy in Love” singer was working on a so-called “album film” dubbed “Project Lemon-
It took 14 years for us to get a sequel to the 1999 romantic comedy hit The Best Man, but after the box office success of tear-jerker, The Best Man Hol- iday in 2013, everyont thought for sure the third installment would take a fraction of that time to hit theaters. In fact, Universal Pictures announced just after the sequel crossed the $100 million mark that the third installment, The Best Man Wedding, would arrive April 15, 2016.
Unless Universal is plan- ning a Beyoncé-like surprise by dropping the film with zero marketing beforehand, we're pretty sure The Best Man Wedding has been delayed. In fact, director Malcolm D. Lee says it's been put off in- definitely.
“There is a desire to make the movie from the studio’s perspective, from my perspec-
tive, from the actors’ perspec- tives, we all would like to make it happen,” Lee told the NY Daily News. “It’s a matter of trying to get the right time of year to do it,” he said.
Apparently, the right time won't be anytime soon.
“Terrence [Howard] and Morris [Chestnut], they’re both on the Fox network and Taye [Diggs] is on TNT, Sanaa [Lathan] is about to do a Fox project, Regina [Hall] is doing something with Hulu. Harold [Per- rineau] is always working, no matter what,” he explained, adding that money is also a factor and that it's imperative the budget “satisfies us all as artists, because nobody got paid a ton of money to make the first one."
Still, Lee says not to lose hope completely.
